Prime Work

All the board are now primed, I just about ran out of space to lay them out, as you can see they take up quite a bit of floor space. From the work bench to saw horses at the door and in between. This was an oil based primer and I'll be adding another primer (latex) tomorrow to help the finished coat adhere, giving it one more layer to help hide the knots and any resin that may try to show through.

Every day we get one step closer.

A Clean Slate - Almost

The primer went on today in the kitchen, dining room and living room. I'll have to put on a second coat where the old colours were, they bleed in a bit and if we put on light colours we don't what them to affect what we put on. Tomorrow the hallway, which by the way goes up the stairs and into the upstairs hallway. A little bit in the bedrooms where I moved a couple of switches and that should be it. Today I had a prisoner, I let him/her go in the same place I let my first one go, hopefully they meet up and start a new life there. I can only hope it was a different one this time, I have a bit of work in the basement, finding a hole???

The dining room is looking good.

The opening between rooms is nice and big and strait.

Lots of walls to work with in the kitchen,
they'll be covered up later.

Nice and bright, even without sunlight today.

You can see the old colour bleeding through.

Once the second coat goes on, you'll never
notice new new walls were added.

Our guest.
