Priming Done

The priming is done, I put on two coats in the hallways, and the second in the living room, much better now. There are a couple areas that I can see need attention since the primer went one and I'll work on them over the next few weeks, no rush. It has been a long road to this point and we have done a lot. From when we took up the floors upstairs to this point, it has been just under 11 months. Now to pick colours, put on some window trim, frame out a few doorways, and even baseboards upstairs, some of the finishing items, until we get out there, that is.

The second coat in the living room.

The new walls look like they have been there for years.

First coat in the hallway.

The hallway side of the new walls.

Second coat.

It looks great.

Upstairs hallway.

Looks good after a second coat.

Let the work begin

Next we decided to paint the rooms that we would be using if we had to move right away. First I removed all the metal closet shelving. They were installed good and solid, after all there were 32 little clips and brackets holding them in. All had to be removed, filled, sanded before we primed the walls. Much easier to paint without all the little clips in place. I know it's hard to see that some of the wall were primed, trust me they were. Here is what they looked like.
Master bedroom.
Dressing room.
Spare room, almost hides the blue.
My office, still a bit green, but getting better.
The addition, we all so painted the ceiling. ReBecca's office was done as well, I forgot to get a picture of it.
